my first day of school
I start my first day at MSU today. It took a long time to get in, and I’m pretty excited about it. I know my semester is going to be really busy though.

I’m on a roll today. I’ve meant to post about all these things for a while now, but I’ve been super busy. I’m making myself do it now so I can keep blogging.
Anyway, I broke my phone Monday. (alternate meaning: threw it across the room, tore the screen off, then stabbed it with a large screw driver; not my proudest moment) Unfortunately I didn’t get any of the numbers off of it before it met it’s doom. So, if anyone wants to leave their number in the comments, it would be super helpful! (unless I’ve called you since Monday, then I got your number from Kristie’s phone)
My new phone is super cool (read, not expensive).

I went camping last weekend if you didn’t know. Kristie and I hauled Vince and a bunch of stuff up to a campsite near Manistee this weekend with Nate and Tara (and buddy).
It was a very relaxing trip, minus the really small “2 person” tent, and the packing up everything at 4am because of a coming storm.
Kristie’s parents arrived here yesterday, so the past couple of days I’ve been a busy bee.
Since Thursday, I have…
Now that they are here, there’s not much left for me to do besides relax and hang out with them.
This is from a while ago, but I just got the pictures so…
Here’s the rest from our trip to Scoopy Do’s in D-town.
I knew that ice cream trucks couldn’t be a totally legit way to make money.
In other news, I will be sending my resume to TechSmith Corporation on Monday, so I may be stepping into the world of regular people and regular jobs (and probably health insurance!).
Brad and Sandy came over last night. We had a great time with dinner, and then we rented Stranger than Fiction. I seriously love that movie. I’m not exactly sure what it is about it that I love. I’ve seen it like 4 times since it came out on video, and every time I’ve enjoyed it. Watch it if you haven’t yet.
So, last night I awoke from a dream where I was trying to help Kristie avoid hurting herself. Apparently in real life I was doing the opposite. I karate chopped her in the chest. So I guess it’s official, I’m a wife beater.
On an unrelated note, I finally finished my FireFox extension to log my interwebs browsing in real-time. I also made the page that displays said history. You can check out my browsing by visiting my blog and clicking ‘Web History’, or just click the lazy link I made (EDIT: the extension still works, I just stopped using it). If you want to use this extension for yourself, let me know and I’ll make the necessary changes to allow you to use it.
So I decided it would be fun/transparent and stuff to put my web history up for all to see!
I “hacked” into my Google web history, and the page “Web History” at the right shows a decently live feed of my browsing madness.
Well, it has been way to long since the last post I made, so now I’m making an effort to post…
I did eventually finish laying moving the gravel all around in my backyard/parking lot. Nate helped a ton, and even loaned me his rake (plus another one he bought, possibly just for the situation), which I have yet to return to him. It is so much nicer parking on the gravel since I don’t get stuck anymore; well worth all the effort to get it spread out.
I’ve been reading a lot more lately. About a week ago I Nate sent me a ton of eBooks by Orson Scott Card, and since then I’ve read two of them from the Ender’s Game Series. Fantastic books, they really get you thinking.
