looking forward to
It’s time for a good list (feel free to do your own, it feels good), so here are some things I’m looking forward to (and other sentences ending in prepositions):
- The new building being completed — because I’ve been spending a lot of time there and it’s gonna be sweet
- The new speakers coming in for the new auditorium — because I’ve done sound for too long with not so good speakers in a room with horrible accoustics
- My kitchen being finished — because it’s been in process since December, and currently my stove is in the living room
- Going to NC in July — because Kristie’s parents are fantastic, and I need to relax
Hmmmm…seems like I had more when I was thinking about this post. Maybe I’ll add some later. Probably not, though.
Ending a sentence with a preposition is wrong only sometimes.
